The Friday they 13th in October is the only one with history behind it. I think we're safe to announce... anything. lol
He bullied our defenders (Doyle & Flanagan if I remember correctly) and they were a bit stunned by the way he did it and what the Ref let him get away with. Somebody should have put a mark on him early on to let him know he wasn't going to get everything his way.
Rumours coming out of the Crystal Lake Camp.... are that the Jason Voorhees deal to Sunderland is dead in that water as they were unable to Cut... a deal. Sources believe that Jason isn't keen on the deal as he "isn't going anywhere on Friday the 13th" as there's too many nutters about.
He really annoyed me that night but when he played for us there were times I found him hilarious. Can't remember which game it was but the opposition goalkeeper was wasting so much time it was ridiculous and he kept re-placing the ball for goal kicks - so on one goal kick, Maguire went up and did it for him - picking up the ball and moving it a foot sideways.
Some excellent posts on this forum today Pity none of them are about Stewart staying and some good incoming players.
Cannot echo this enough. Being everyones cup final. ****ey sides sacrificing their next fixture to try and get a spunky point off us. Teams going all out for 20 mins to score first then defending their six yard box for the rest of the game. Sides coming to the SoL and timewasting after 6 minutes. The referees, ****ing where to start with some of the abysmal performances we saw from them. Phil bastard Parkinson, Donald and Methven talking utter ****e. Will Grigg is not on fire. Danny Graham coming back and being worse than first time round. Callum Mcfadzean. Max Powers 40 yarder in the last minute of the playoff semi against Lincoln. Jack Ross. 1-1 draws. Joey Barton being a twat. Oxford/Wycombe et al complete and utter ****housery. Charlton at Wembley. Coventry and Portsmouth bulling up plastic rivalries. Most of it, it was ****! Honestly I could go on. Lets never ever go back.
Dunno if anyone has seen this but a bit of a write up on Nemeth https://www.si.com/soccer/sunderlan...-need-to-know-about-sunderland-striker-target
Aye, but apart from all of that......................Laurens De Bock was an absolute baller wasn't he
Waghorn has signed for Huddersfield. Good move for him. Will be interesting to see if Coventry spend anything now they have their new owners.
