Saudi FC are going to win stuff, it's inevitable. If it was NUFC I'd hate to see it but those days are gone.
Interesting moral question - how would we feel if it was us spending £220m on players and getting to cup finals. Could any of us honestly say we'd stick by our morals and refuse to go to matches etc? Easy for us to thrown stones, but if the roles were reversed? Not so sure..........

We had supporters packing in season tickets when Di Canio was appointed man… One thing I know for a fact, we wouldn’t have paraded around with tea towels on our heads and Saudi flags on show.

Yeah, you are probably right. The mags seem happy to throw away their history and adopt the values of whoever loves them the most recently

Would I want to go to games if we were owned by the Saudi government? It'd leave a hell of a bad taste in my mouth and them chucking hundreds of millions at it wouldn't change the flavour. I'd take a backseat if it happened to us. We're lucky to have Dreyfus, he's going to build something the right way.

Agreed, no chance we'd have done that as a collective. We've got too much sense.

It’s gonna be unbearable when the bastards win things and hearing the smug arseholes from Durham, Chester, Houghton, Washington etc. claiming they’re ‘Geordies’ will leave a sick taste in the mouth. I’m pleased our club is on track and in good hands.
