Sargent isn’t scoring goals again because he’s been farmed out to the left and right wing. Play him through the middle and he will find the goals again
Realistically there is very little that Wagner will have been able to change since he’s come in
Sara looking good, finally showing some penetration and movement from midfield with some one touch give and go
I like Idah but I get the sense he is trying to do too much today, holding on to the ball too long and not making the right passes, he’s usually better than that
This is a mentally fragile group , already low on self belief and confidence that trade mark cock up seems to have knocked the stuffing out of them.

Looks too easy to play against Norwich , just sit back and wait for them to make a mistake so predictable and toothless in attack

Played quite well today, I thought. Just like the last two games though, no confidence in front of goal and silly mistakes getting punished. Hope Wagner tells Pukki to "fu*king shoot when you get the ball!". The number of times he gets in good positions and either takes an extra touch to let a defender get back, cuts it back when he should have a go, or needs to hit it quickly, on the turn, tries to dribble it and runs into the keeper! Its mental. A few years ago, he would have been on 15+ goals already with the chances he has had!

On the horrendous run of form we're on and the fact we've already blown our transfer budget I would consider survival a success this season .

The commentator I was listening to stated it was 20 corners - just make it a little harder to swallow
I was screaming this today, Pukki of old shoots as soon as he sees the goal. So often this season he has tried to cut back and he’s so slow at doing it

That sounds bad, but the average is estimated at around 1 goal every 40 corners. Obviously with some teams it can be more than that, others less, but that gives an idea of how unlikely it is.
It will take more than two days for a new style to be established, but there was an intensityand commitment about our play. Blackburn did nothing to score except to accept Hanley's gift then park the bus and time waste to the end. At least Wagner got a good look at most of our players as he plans for Preston. I'm still confident improvement will come.
