    Like others have mentioned, C4 coverage of Italian football post italia 90 means he has a strong image in the memories of a decent section of current supporters. That AC Milan team man... van basten, papin, gullit and rijkkard and the Lazio team with gazza, boksic and signori! Juve with Vialli, baggio and ravanelli were decent too :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Vialli was a world class player, great pundit, average manager and seemingly a great bloke. RIP.

    Sad about this he's one of my footballing heroes. Saw a tribute to him earlier today and there was a bit with him and Mancini (another hero of mine) hugging and sobbing, clearly very recent and it was tough to watch. My eyes weren't dry.
