Take your point mate , I'm only giving my take on what I've seen of him so far since he's been here, and that,s not a lot, same with Ba but they both look useful to me, its how they are used that is crucial and thats up to Tony M.
Truestory mate, but unlike Michut they are old beyond their years.
Patto was Notts Countys first choice before we recalled him, Amad played first team football in Italy and also for Man U, Clarke was a key player for Leeds in the Championship before selling him to Spurs, Ballard played nearly every game for Millwall last year and was voted their best young player, Neil has has already experienced game time for us before this season and fair play to Cirkin and Alese. Alese is a big strong unit though as is Cirkin. Michut is built similar to my 10 year old lads.
No worries mate, I wasnt being funny but when he signed this is the position he played. He may have changed abit since signing for us but for PSG this is how they regard him

He won't be starting many games, we need a big squad as the games keep on coming and he will be in and out of the team as TM sees fit

Andy’s Player Ratings: Blackpool 1-1 Sunderland - Improved 2nd half sees The Lads earn a point
After a frustrating opening 45 minutes saw Sunderland go behind, the team improved in the second half to earn a draw - and probably feel they did enough to win in the end. Here are Andy’s player ratings!
Anthony Patterson: 6/10
No chance with the goal, a couple of slightly hairy moments when he spilled a cross allowing Madine to blast one miles over and after Madine charged down a clearance out wide but solid enough.
Bailey Wright (C): 6/10
A poor header into the Blackpool half caused the opening goal, compounded with Wright struggling to get back. Much better after the break though.
Dan Ballard: 6/10
Had to rush across to the left hand side for Blackpool’s opener, defended well enough but not as eye catching as his previous two games.
Luke O’Nien: 6/10
Caught out of position a couple of times in the first half and struggled to get back, defended well with the ball in front of him and almost got a cheeky goal with a near post flick from a corner.
Trai Hume: 7/10
Put in a few good balls from the right hand side and got an assist with a clever header to Stewart. Defended his side well all game, could maybe have closed down Lavery for the opener but that would have left another Blackpool player in space, left in no-man’s land with the centre backs out of position.
Jack Clarke: 6/10
Struggled to get into the game initially but came alive around the hour mark and was a threat for the rest of the game.
Dan Neil: 6/10
Defended well in the middle of the park but hit and miss with his passing today.
Edouard Michut: 4/10
Got booked quite early into the game and struggled to make an impact, had to leave a couple of dangerous runners to avoid being sent off.
Patrick Roberts: 6/10
Had our first effort on target of the game but was a weak right-footed effort from the edge of the box, linked up well with Amad as usual.
Amad: 7/10
Far from his best game from us but still caused the home side major problems as the game went on, smacked one shot off the bar and laid a chance on a plate for Stewart.
Ross Stewart: 7/10
Scored once again but will probably be kicking himself that he never got another, with a cross from Amad in particular somehow not ending up in the back of the net.
Substitutes
Abdoullah Ba: 7/10
Came on with half an hour to go and his energy fully swung the game in our favour.
Man of the Match: Trai Hume
Did well at right back today and is making a case to be Sunderland’s first choice in that position, even when injuries clear up. Defended well all game, got forward to good effect with some dangerous crosses and notched an assist with a clever header to Ross Stewart.

Agree with all of that mate, great post.
Michut is the sort of technically gifted lad who I would be confident in making the grade personally. I have see quite a few like him at 16 or 17 who dont have the attitude I think he has to go with his ability. He is intense in his play, committed to win the ball back. He makes silly challenges at times, like today which got him a yellow. I thought the yellow knocked him off his game a bit too. He could probably talk to Neil who spent last summer on the weights and you can see him now being really strong off and on the ball. He isnt going to grow 6 inches, but he can build a lot of core strength to make him a more physical player.
Ba looks the part. Still a bit wary about him when we get turned over. He can seem to take a minute to switch on. He is a youngun though, and that sort of reactive play is really tough to coach. He has all the makings of a dominant attacking midfielder though for me.

Didn't think Michut was an attacking or a defensive midfielder today. Just floated around ball watching, then when he did get it he gave it away.
I know he's young but much convincing to do for me.

Love this lad, what a warrior. Mowbray saying last week that he is the most amazing person hes ever managed and that the coaches cant even keep up with him in training says it all.

I'd have liked a night out with them, in Blackpool, but I'm back at the hotel ...
... long drive tomorrow and NYE has caught up with me.
I think id be playing as few first team players as possible. Give Bennette, Michut, Ba, Bass, Rigg and Dajaku some game time and rest the important players. Not sure if its worth risking the likes of Batth, Gooch and co or whether they’d benefit from another week’s rest….
