Firstly NJ himself. He's not good enough to be at this club, he's achieved nothing in the game and won't attract players or get our existing PL players to buy in whatever he wants to achieve. It was an absolutely mental appointment Secondly both the Lincoln and Brighton games, we looked like a team of strangers, the players didn't understand the tactics and it was clear he didn't understand what formation he wanted. He had 6 weeks to sort it and we looked far worse than what I'd seen under Ralph. We were very lucky to beat Lincoln and were completely pedestrian against Brighton. We won't win a game under him
Whatever your thoughts on Jones and his suitability for the role, that is an absolutely ridiculous statement. Genuinely one of the worst claims I've ever read on this forum!
He may not have much draw, but the biggest attraction for players is playing regularly in the PL. Yes he’s not managed in the PL before, but that shouldn’t in itself mean he’s not good enough. It’s a gamble at a dangerous time. I worry that what you say is true, but he probably needs more than 1 cup and 1 league game to say this for sure. The question is do we give him 6 games, 10 games or get rid now? It would take some balls from SR to admit their mistake quickly.
