How can you leave it that late to bring on our subs?

Why are we not playing Chair and Willock together? The two of them combine to provide the only real spark of creativity that we ever see. I understand that Chair may have been injured when taken off but not starting the pair of them is unforgivable.

Is there a contractual clause which obliges us to play Roberts?

Why is there only ever one person in the box on the rare occasion we get a good cross in? Tonight, there were endless crosses not getting past the first defender; or they went sailing over Dykes head.

How many chances does Dykes need before he puts one of them in?

How can Tim be that good against Cardiff and then go AWOL tonight?

2 or 3 more performances as pathetic as that and we'll be in a relegation scrap, we're closer on points to the relegation places than the promotion places and going in the wrong direction. I f*cking hope Celtic smash Rangers out of sight on Monday...

Not Tim's fault he was played in that formation.
Willock was waving as he went down the tunnel as if he was saying goodbye.

I'm finding no argument to disagree with you Col.
From what I have heard in his interviews (limited I know) he doesn't inspire confidence in his knowledge of the game or talking tactically. 'we want to play on the front foot' is about as deep as he has gone.

Completely agree. Other clubs are progressing and we are regressing.

I would say January absolutely pivotal but I think more radical surgery required. Yet again, we're looking at a rebuild.

It's not a rebuild, its a manager who picks our best 11, tactics to match our strengths and spend every single penny we have on a striker

This formation that Critchley started with 4411 or whatever it was supposed to be just didn't work in any shape or form...... You don't really need 2 holding midfielders at home, Tim 5vowels was playing with the handbrake on, not sure he even crossed the half way line....... why have him and Field covering the backline..... The full backs seem to have stopped over lapping, the power play style of pass and move to open up defenses has gone out the window....... It just looks so laboured.

IMO and I basically know nothing about tactics, but have watched the R's for the best part of 57 years, 352 seems to suit us better, Laird and Paal become wing backs, Field covers the back 3, 5vowels gets moving forward, Chair plays closer to whoever is up front, Amos/Johanson (if he ever plays again) provides the legs in the middle initiating the high press....... It gives us more balance and greater options going forward, plus Dickie, Dunne and JCS are not a bad back 3 to have in this division..........

Tonight was a very, very bad night at the office......... maybe it's all a cunning plan to stop Sky showing us.........

Trouble is we rebuild every season, because every season we bring in so many loan players. If you add to the fact that we keep changing managers, ok Beale wasn't our fault, then things are never gonna change. FFP has crippled us and according to the board we are only just surviving on what it costs to run the club daily. The question is what can be done to change the inevitable ? If things carry on as they are then under the current regime we will just about survive as a club but will have zero chance of promotion and a very real possibility of relegation in the near future. The only other option is if they decide to sell the club and that would leave 2 possibilities open. 1, the new owners pump everything they have into getting promoted and hope it works otherwise FFP would finish the club or 2, the new owners carry on as things are now and we would probably slip into obscurity somewhere in League 2. Rather bleak outlook to he fair, and I can't see a quick fit remedy. Desperately need to unearth a top striker from somewhere and hope that Critchley or another come good !

Willock dropped as NC wanted some energy! Cool I can run around a lot does that mean I can get a game? FFS have u not watched any of our matches this season u muppet.
"Dominated the game, goals came at bad time" clearly didn't even watch tonights game either!

    That was dire.

The ref was the worst I've seen...but he was a "equal opportunity worst I've seen".
He did not contribute excessively to our dire performance

Shodipo was not that bad ( runs for cover,)

..but why have crosses from wingers and wing backs ...if you only have one player in the box at the end of them. Dykes was home alone for the entire match....

The players are very very out of salts. I expect they feel let down and tricked by Beale, and not bought into Critchley yet.

Chair is looking a little big for his boots Willock is either already looking at another club, or worried about an injury.

Laird is thinking he will be off to a better club in January, and Dykes is practicing his Scottish.

Critchley needs to cut his clith, get us stable and safe and start again....fi@@@@ing Beale

We need to get out of this season without getting relegated

Just watched Critchleys post match interview. I think we have taken a massive gamble on him. He sounds so naive and out of his depth to be honest. He has been brought in for his reputation for developing youngsters. The U23s might be his limit. He doesn't come across as having the confidence to manage a group of players at this level, he looks weak, as if you could walk all over him. I think he will take us further down the league. I hope he proves me totally wrong but I'm yet to hear anything from him that inspires me with the slightest bit of confidence in his ability.

Wow that is bleak indeed. Let's hope there are clever tricks and secret plans that make it slightly less bleak!
