Good to see you fit and still bitterEvening my little mag chums. Just popped back to enhance your thread, notwithstanding that I said I was gone for good. But, having returned from a trip to La Bella Italia for a spot of Crimbo shopping, and since none of you have ever seen one, here you go! You're welcome...

Merry Christmas

Hi Obi Wan. Doing fine, thanks and hope the same is true of you? And that is my good self, to be precise. Outside the Duomo in central Milan.Hey Sid, long time - how you doing?
Not sure who that is in the photo, but judging by the numbers of digits it can't be a Mackem.
Nice one Sid, hope you enjoyed it.Hi Obi Wan. Doing fine, thanks and hope the same is true of you? And that is my good self, to be precise. Outside the Duomo in central Milan.
It was pissing down!

I did, thanks, mate. As for the crowds, I have no thoughts on the matter any more. The rivalry's gone, as far as I'm concerned and that pisses me off, frankly. I shall continue to enjoy your lack of trophies, of course, but given the depth of Johnny Arab's pockets I suspect it's only a matter of time...Nice one Sid, hope you enjoyed it.
By the way, what are your thoughts on Newcastle having more home fans for a friendly match than Sunderland did for a home league game in the last week?

Dorty McFly?dorty said as there very recently too. Did you se anyone who looked like Marty McFly but with a Geordie accent?
It was fun. One of the downsides to all the money in the game. There's always been an elite, (Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U), but clubs are just buying their way in now (Chelsea, Citeh, you lot). Be interesting to see what you achieve compared to, say, the Keegan era.Yeah I miss the old days of proper rivalry and banter, especially the old BBC 606 days. We had fun back then.
Sidney! I hope you went in the cathedral, and even better, up on the roof! We did, though wifey is scared of heights! It also poured down when we were last month.Dorty McFly?Nah. TBH I found the Milanese a bit up their own arses. All designer labels and bad manners. Dorty would have stuck out a bit...

Yeah, but Sid has a special 'manbag' complete with an overnight ditch survival kit.Fair plays Sid, however it looks like you have been taking fashion tips off our resident mackem Chippy.![]()
We didn't actually go in, as we had a trip to Venice in October and did loads of "culture" while we were there. Milan was for the Christmas markets this time, as well as the food and drink, of course!Sidney! I hope you went in the cathedral, and even better, up on the roof! We did, though wifey is scared of heights! It also poured down when we were last month.
Fashion and me are strangers, mate. As you may have noticedFair plays Sid, however it looks like you have been taking fashion tips off our resident mackem Chippy.![]()
Don't diss the bag, Obi Wan! Dead handy things...Yeah, but Sid has a special 'manbag' complete with an overnight ditch survival kit.
