It is just a picture of a car that has been clamped. It doesn't necessarily mean any more than that.....although it could do, if given the context of the discussion that has been happening. I can see that some people would find it unacceptable, however, they or their parents or grandparents chose to come to a site where this happens. I don't like to see dogs killed for food but I'm not planning on moving to Korea to start telling Koreans not to do it.

You know, our English tradition of rejecting all things Catholic is a bit like your Irish tradition of rejecting all things English/British. You tend to express yourselves through songs, we (mostly used to) express ourselves by burning an effigy of the Pope. Both are symbolic of the struggle against foreign interference.

I am aware that due to a steady stream of Catholic immigrants over the years and a decreasing number of English christians, Catholicism is now the religion which sees most church attendances in England. I think the number who claim to be Church of England on their census forms is around 70%?

If you read back through the post, nowhere have I said or implied that I hate anyone. The reason I mentioned the Pope in the first place was because originally, it was the Pope's effigy that was burned back in the day when English people did give a ****.
