United have the option in January according to Manchester Evening News, only way they recall him is if they get a big offer for him IMO, which wouldn’t be surprising

Coincidence?

People are drumming up speculation this is linked to Ross Stewart potentially leaving, completely get why some are worried about that but I think it’s more to do with us needing a third striker, just opinion though

I'm not particularly worried about Amad leaving. I don't see Man Utd selling him just yet, and let's be clear he's score a couple of goals (albeit good goals) in the 2nd tier of English football, it's not exactly one to set the pulses racing amongst the PL top 10

The run up to January transfer window is always silly season for so-called "Transfer insiders". It's only gotten worse in recent years with the onset of social media and so many 15yo boys pretending to be Football Agents or Journos

MOWBRAY HOPEFUL OF AMAD STAY

Tony Mowbray has warned against Manchester United recalling Amad Diallo, claiming that he needs regular football at his age and the winger is enjoying playing week-in week-out.

MAN UTD
“We’ll have to wait and see what happens. But we’re not sitting here at the moment thinking, ‘Oh, Man United are going to take him back in January because he’s going to go and make a massive impact for them’. I think Man United are in an alright place aren’t they? They’re doing okay. They’ve got a young Argentinian lad [Alejandro Garnacho] coming through who’s been scoring a few goals for them, and I’m sure they’ll be wanting to give him a chance."

COMPETITION
“[Christian] Eriksen obviously looks really talented, and their midfield has been shaken up a little bit. They started with Fred and [Scott] McTominay, but now you’ve got lots of different options with the likes of Casemiro, Antony and [Bruno] Fernandes as well. I guess the point I’m trying to make is that I’m not sure he’s going to be going back.”

REGULAR GAME TIME
“If he was to go back, then I’m not sure he’d be going back to play, and surely at the age the boy is, he needs to play. He’s doing that here, and I think this is a great vehicle for him to be showcasing his talent."

ENJOYMENT
“He’s helping our team to be successful, and he’s showcasing his talent to Man United. I know he’s enjoying it – you can see that by the smile on his face every day now, as opposed to a month ago, when he was quite a shy, introverted individual. Now, his talent is flourishing and he’s enjoying himself, and I’m sure he’s not in any rush to go back.”

I think he’s been superb. Done much more than “scored a couple of good goals” probably right about the PL and whether he’s there yet. But he’s a very very good Championing player imo

I meant from the point of view of a PL Manager looking for a player to get his team into the top 4 (which you assume ETH is trying to do with Man Utd) - as good as he's been for us, it's unlikely to cause more of a ripple at Old Trafford

He won't be going back there to play! He is starting to show he is good at this level but that is a recent thing and he isn't ready to be playing at an Utds level yet!

Reminds me of Clarke in that he seems to have took a while to settle in and get up to speed after signing for a bigger club for a decent fee at a young age and then not really being near the first team! A bit of rustiness and knocks to confidence set in and it's taken a while to get going.

Look at Clarke one of our best players so far this season and I'm sure I wasn't alone in thinking he was all fart no ****e until about the playoffs last season! I was thinking same about Alese but he is now starting to make me eat my words, great when that happens by the way!
