Said when looked at that team not sure on the hype about them. Take messi out of that line up and not sure any of them would get into England, Spain, Germany team.

They won the Copa America, including beating Brasil in the Maracana and have gone 20+ games unbeaten i think.
 
Said it before it started France and England have the best balance in the squads. And unless they implode (like only France can) France should be winning it.

Agreed. My money is on France (literally). Even without benzema, squad and front line looks credible. Defence looks good.

Midfield is young but talented so could go either way. No fear with lots of energy, or fold in big games. Remains to be seen but think they have the best squad of the tournament.

imo, they play better without Benzema. Giroud fits their style better.
 
4 years time in America I expect we will see Spain win the WC again.

Some exceptional young players who are still going to be young come USA/Canada.

Were saying how a lot of this spain team were in the Olympics team last year and used that as a good build up for this WC.

Seems lot of countries see Olympics as a proper tournament and helps develop their young players to get rid used to tournament football
