Picking up on the 16% increase in rents, the budget put a 7% cap on rental increases for properties owned by Councils and Social Housing groups. I don’t recall seeing seeing a similar cap being placed on privately rented properties which, given the rise in interest rates and the impact they will have on buy to let landlords, could lead to a lot of people being made homeless, if their rent is increased too much. Especially as the government has refused to end “no fault eviction” which allows landlords to kick people out on a whim. On a separate point, Kay Burley recently interviewed Robert Jenrick, and during the interview he boasted about appointing a regulator to oversee the standard of council/social housing. Jenrick admitted, during this interview, that council/social housing is generally in better repair than some privately rented accommodation. Did Burley ask him why, if that was the case, he hadn’t appointed a regulator to oversee the condition of privately rented property? Or why he and his party voted against making ALL rented properties habitable? Did she ****. The attachment is a report on private rental property, and just reading the first part gives a clear impression that not enough is being done. I haven’t looked at the downloads. With regards to regulating private rental property, the report indicates that the responsibility has been put on local council but also points out that local council isn’t equipped to carry out the role in great detail. https://www.nao.org.uk/reports/regulation-of-private-renting/#report-conclusions
I don't think that anything I've said on a football forum has influenced a madman in Colorado Springs. It is possible I suppose but until the motive has been announced, unlike you I won't be jumping to conclusions. One thing we do know though is that he identifies as non binary, doesn't that make him part of the LGBT+ community? Bit awkward. please log in to view this image
He has identified as non-binary since yesterday. And no, I don't think anything you said on this forum influenced the shooter. You're irrelevant, as I am. But the people you keep quoting, and the arguments they make? They probably influenced a mass murder. Wouldn't be the first time...the manifestos of multiple mass killers directly referenced far right figures.
Do you think that he's sincerely been a member of the LGBT community since yesterday, after murdering multiple members of the LGBT community?
I don't mean to be funny but neither of those things stated in that tweet prove the individual didn't identify as non-binary. Especially the mother thing. I have non-binary friends and am pretty sure the family of at least one would not use their preferred pronouns (they no longer speak). For the records - i would expect it is much harder in some states than others to change the pronouns on those There is almost certainly more to it but i am responding to the words in the tweet alone which are pretty shockingly short sighted to be honest,
Look at you, sweetheart, playing games after someone killed five people. Do you ever wonder whether the fact that some people makes you feel icky is actually a you problem, rather than something society should crush under its heel to make you feel more secure?
So, you haven't got an answer then. That'll be a first. We are constantly told 'When someone tells you who they are, believe them'. What's changed?
Oh, trust me. I very much hew to that philosophy. And you have very much told me who you are, as did the person who murdered five people while his father expressed relief that the massacre indicated that he wasn't gay.
Great if you're into platitudes but hardly ground breaking. The bottom line makes no sense. Child abuse will always be extreme. You might also want to check on the integrity of Janey Godley if you're going to quote her any more. https://www.nationalworld.com/news/...ive-posts-got-her-removed-from-advert-3378533
I'll tell you what is weird, that despite numerous examples of child abuse you and quite a few others on this thread continue to defend the perpetrators.
No one on here is defending the 'perpetrators' or denying institutional abuse. Your posting of debunked cut and paste right wing attacks on drag, gay, trans whatever communities is close to hysterical.
You're conflating a small number of perpetrators, some of which appear to have been entirely fabricated, with a whole class of people. That's what bigotry is, sunshine. Thinking that the actions of a very small percentage of a group -- any group -- reflect on the group as a whole.
Onion man didn't think William Dees existed and you seem to have taken his word for it without any research of your own. Considering what you have written above, you've let yourself down. Let's face it both of you have been more concerned with trying to discredit me than having any real answers, and the reason for that is you don't have any. Drag artists are adult entertainers and many have criminal records, they should be nowhere near young children and if that is not grounded in reality enough for you, then maybe you should think about your values. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image William Travis Dees as “Sister Jeff” (lower right) please log in to view this image
Debunked by who? Onion and Schad? "Cut and paste", "right wing attacks" blah blah blah I've read all this blather before. You only seem to be able to repeat what onion says, can't you come up with anything original?
