Theakstons from the barrel at The Plough and Harrow down your neck of the woods back in the day.Draught Abbot in Wetherspoons about £2.50 a pint.
Stronger than Dark as well.
I prefer bottled or even better Theakston Old Peculier but very few pubs sell bottled beer - as opposed to lager. I get told there is no demand.
If they don't stock it no one will ask for it.
In uni I recall having 4 pints of Tartan for 50p in our student house and 14p a pint in the Union Bar!! And that was in London.
