    Draught Abbot in Wetherspoons about £2.50 a pint.

    Stronger than Dark as well.

    I prefer bottled or even better Theakston Old Peculier but very few pubs sell bottled beer - as opposed to lager. I get told there is no demand. <doh>

    If they don't stock it no one will ask for it.

    Theakstons from the barrel at The Plough and Harrow down your neck of the woods back in the day.

    Still reckon Brains Dark was my fave though. The Hope on North Road probably served the best kept pint in Cardiff.

    In uni I recall it went from 43p to 50p.

    It was all downhill from then......

    In uni I recall having 4 pints of Tartan for 50p in our student house and 14p a pint in the Union Bar!! And that was in London.
