I honestly struggle to remember a worse press conference. That includes Boris and co. It was utterly ridiculous. There were a few kernels of truth and of interest in there, but they all got lost due to the nonsense he spouted.
I am going to be only interested in the footy from tomorrow. I refuse to let FIFA rob me of a world cup. I will watch every minute I can, and frankly ignore everything else until after the world cup is lifted. After that it is fair game, and I suspect this will be a watershed for FIFA they have not banked on.

How come league games resume early December (we play Millwall on the 3rd) while the world cup is still on?

Qatar have already won it mate. Beat England 5-4 on pens in the final. Everybody just came home early for a drink of water.
We cut our break short to reschedule the March after it was cancelled for the Queen passing iirc.
