I stupidly thought that when Di Fanti replaced Blatter it was a golden opportunity for FIFA to sort themselves out and get rid of all this corruption....how wrong was I.

If I remember right he'd only been in the job five minutes when he had to deny some sort of corruption allegation.

I'm sure Toney said that was his bet and had already collected his winnings!

Infanti or whatever the f*ck his name has lost the f*cking plot. Take 63 million from a sponsor then two days before the games start tell them there’s a ban on their products ffs

If it catches on, I've heard the mags will be copying it after the international break

As someone who is also a ginger, I'd just like to say that being a daywalker has in no way helped me understand what it's like to feel gay, disabled or like a migrant worker in Qatar. If he thinks a little childhood bullying is the same as the actions of Qatar then he's an even bigger ****wit than I realised.

Nee fetta cheese and only 1 olive. And they serve it in an NHS cardboard sick bowl. Love it.

I'm going to watch this coverage tomorrow and as much of the other games as I can. This all better be called out by the pundits. The off the field stuff is of more interest than the footy, which is a massive shame.

I'm looking forward to how the ceremony reflects FIFA's core values. Just as a reminder, they are:

    OUR CORE VALUES
    • TRANSPARENCY: is operating in such a way that it is easy for others to see what actions are performed.
    • ACCOUNTABILITY: is the acknowledgment and assumption of responsibility for actions.
    • INTEGRITY: is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one’s actions. integrity can stand in opposition to hypocrisy.
    • SOLIDARITY: is a unity of purpose or togetherness.
    • COURAGE: is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty or intimidation.
    • JUSTICE: as found in the study and application of the law.
    • DEMOCRACY: the rule of the majority.

What did/do Qatar want from this. Exposure to the West they so dislike?

As for FIFA, this is one massive **** up and I reckon it will speed up a breakaway who want out of the corrupt ****. (Or use it as a massive excuse to get out)
