... a proper thread before @RTB shows up with his shambolic cobbled together cut&paste effort, bless him <laugh>

Huddersfield is a good chance for one of our great away wins imo. They've won one in three and only scored once, so they're not exactly on a roll despite beating Millwall. Their Japanese international Nakayama seems to have had his eye in yesterday, chortle, despite his goal being a cross that the keeper misjudged.

We're meeting up in the Yorkshire Rose and there may be a few spares if anyone needs a ticket. Blackburn had 17,000 yesterday, for a Saturday game, so it'll be interesting to see what we attract in midweek.

Three points could really shoot us back up the table and we have some very good players coming into form ...

... we're playing some great football and I'm really looking forward to this game.

I reckon Simms will start this one with Roberts, Pritchard and Amad in behind. I'm expecting Simms' return to help Pritchards game massively. HTL

It's been tragic watching Pritchard double marked by two defenders ...

... it's looked like two terriers flinging a rat around at times.

Awesome. I should hit Huddersfield around 6 all being well. Strange question, do you know if there is anywhere to park nearby and charge an electric car? I have a hire car this week and the only one they’ll give me is electric!!!!

    There's a B&Q nearby, worth a check.

Sad thing about his yellow is what it was for. Ref booked him for kicking the ball away. Luton had some to r same about 10 times when We’d been given free kicks. Yet the first yellow for it, unsurprisingly, was for us

Hoping to stop at the Silkwood Farm pub @ Ossett, just off M1 (run by SAFC fans) for a carvery
It's about 13 miles from the ground and probably park in the Gas Club car park or St Andrews Road.

Try Zap map. It will tell you all the chargers in that area. When you find the charger you want to use and you might need the charging company app. Also make sure you have a back up plan., ie another charger as it maybe in use when you get there. It might be better using a fast charger on the motorway before you get there and allow an hour for charging. Zap map will give you all the info you need. Hope this helps.

I had a quick look on Google maps and searched for electric chargers. There is one near the pub and the ground. Osprey is the charging network and is near the pub you are meeting at. According to zap map you can pay by credit card. You could charge up whilst having a pint but will need to move the car once you have finished charging. You might be better off charging on the motorway before you get there.

Really hope Simms starts. With Clarke out, we need Diallo and Roberts on the wings with something in the box to hit.

    I agree mate.

Huddersfield are another 'direct' team so we'll also need him in defence for corners, etc. I'd always have Diallo or Roberts on the halfway line as they're poor in defence but would occupy at least one defender, probably two.

I hate “11 in the box” for corners! If you clear the ball it’s coming back no matter what. Always had a quick lad on half way or just this side of the centre circle when I coached the youngsters. Got us a few goals too by giving a break away

I'd leave Roberts or Amad up on the halfway line.

Actually, I'd leave them both up. I bet teams would keep 3 or maybe 4 back
