Ouch, I hate that commentary, he gets the players names wrong, he doesn't sound to enthusiastic when we score a goal for a Tigers fan, and he keeps saying we've won free-kicks when it's actually the opposition. Actually come to mention it.... is he Gwilym Lloyd's son?
Don't have anything against Chiles, he is a genuine football fan. He's a lot better than Matt 'talk in rhymes' Smith. Mark Bright talks rubbish as does Crooks. Problem with most commentators/pundits is they are friends with the players so won't say anything to slag them off.
I'm almost with you on that one brother. He's abso-****ing-lutely dog shizer. When he's the co commentator I turn the sound down.Garth Crooks is **** and Clive Tyldsley is a tool. However, the biggest chopper when it comes to pundits is Mark Lawrenson. End of.
Colin Murray? Think he's terrible. John Barnes was surprisingly bad. I thought James Richardson was good. He to me, like Gary Imlach, lets his passion show through in a professional manner.
Don't mind Chiles at all - just needs to lighten up a bit. Colin Murray is bright but a very full of himself - ok for the moment. Shearer thick . Lawrenson okish but again a bit of a smart arse. Garth Crooks is just mental or thick or both and think the Beeb only put up with him to be PC. Tydlesley can't abide him, Alan Parry diito. Alan Smith ok. Glad both Andy Gray and his hairy double glazing salesman mate Richard keys got heir comuppance - both well past their sell-by date and thought they were Skysports FFS.
Don't care what anyone says but Adrian Charles is nowhere near as bad as Maniche Bhasin. That guy irks me >/
He did the Hockey at the Beijing olympics. I agree that he is one of the better ones. He got narked off at Motson always getting the big games.
Garth Crookes looks like Yoda and talks toddums. Or should that be To**ums? David Pleat I rate, although when there's a more exotic name he either says it wrong with confidence or lets it tail off into a mumble. Which I also like. I like Stuart Hall, but 2 hours might be a bit much. Claridge...zzzz time to go. What about Gareth Southgate and Brian Blessed? A nice balance there I reckon.
The one that's starting to annoy me is Jake Humphrey. Not so much his presenting but the fact that he seems to be presenting every programme the BBC makes now.
Stuart Hall is a legend, like Chris Kamara, they both make me laugh they're so passionate, can tell they love the game, and although they sometimes talk utter bollocks, seem genuine.
When it come to punditry the only 2 I have ever heard who offer something different to whats being trotted out by all the others, Are Martin o neil and leonardo.
It seems that everybody likes different presenters, which is probably why they're all currently employed. Can we all agree that the worst OB match presenter is Iain Dowie?
Jamie Redknapp I rate (not so much as his wife) often says interesting stuff. Garth Crookes - "Talk Bollocks I do"
