4 in 27 is bad. Agreed.

However, since the transfer window, Played 13, won 3, drawn 3, lost 7.

For the gloom and doom merchants, let that sink in. No where near as bad as 4 in 27.

We are unbeaten in 46% of our games and we have played Spurs, Man U, Chelsea, West Ham, City and Arsenal in those.

Not good I agree, but with a new team, a few injuries, what do we honestly expect? We aren’t Man City.

Also proves that anyone can manipulate stats to prove or disprove a point
Ok but have you seen the table? It doesn't lie.

It's much more about how the team is playing than the table or the results for me. We are not progressing in our football the way I thought that we might at the start of the season and have become a little dull and frustrating to watch in the main.

I see plenty of signs of progress this season, which will hopefully turn into results soon. Two tough PL games before the break, but I don’t think either result is a foregone conclusion.

Talking with my Geordie neighbour this morning and he thinks Toon might just scrape it.
Not sure how much he has seen of us, in recent weeks.

Thanks for making those points to which can be added the first choice injury list.
PS. Arse just scored their 5th v NF.

I

The problem in the first half yesterday, was that every time we did lose the ball we got overrun, because one thing Palace did really well was get forward quickly. They have a front three who’d trouble any side in the league tbh. When Mainland-Niles came on btw, that stopped happening.
It's also very, very close.
Well, let’s hope it’s still close by the time we have our WC break.
