We had the poisonous dwarf Keith Stroud last night, and as expected it was fugging horrendous, bottled a red card for a two footed tackle and gave yellows for nothing. He didn’t want to give our pen, but the Lino was adamant on it and Strouds face was like thunder, absolute sh1t ref

Oliver Langford the latest to test our patience this Saturday.

Remember him from some matches in past seasons but to be frank they’re all as bad as eachother.

True Nin. Not had a good one for a while although, in fairness, Mr Bond wasn't bad on Sunday. Robinson made the main decision for him.

I said last week we needed to learn to play the refs. Cabango nudges Robinson, Robinson goes down, Cabango gets a yellow. Job done. So simple.

So, apologies now received from the referees association on the chalking off of our goal v Coventry.

Combine that with the ridiculous red card at QPR, the incredible imbalance of cards to fouls when compared to QPR in the same game AND overlooking a potential penalty for us in the Jacks game (I'll ignore Kipre's handball and the lead up to Robbo's red) we've had quite the week from officials eh?

One can only hope we get something better on Saturday.

    Well said sir.
My concern is that while we may hope for something better, based on our own experiences and what I read on other boards, I wonder if the current crop of referees can bring some improvement. Time to invest in training and in VAR in my 'umble opinion.

The Preston nightmare is the one that really leaps out.

Weirdly I can't recall the 5-4 Charlton game. May need to take a look back for that one.

I was however encouraged to see only 1 red being dolled out across the games. Hopefully a trend we won't buck tomorrow either.

(Part of me thinks I really shouldn't have said that out loud).

The 5-4 game was mad; I think we were 1 or 2 up then our defence went asleep and it was 5-2 going into the death but clawed back 2 late goals.
Mackay then decided to change the set up to tighten up the defence resulting in duller football but winning and ultimately promotion.

The Millwall Bamba disallowed goal sticks out like a shining beacon.

Well true to form the dwarf gave a masterly exhibition in pedantry and micro management with a smattering of perverse illogical decision making.

Not sure it was a free kick leading to their first corner goal nor a corner for their second.

His retirement cannot come soon enough.

Andy Davies next up at Sunderland. Has mixed results with him over the years.

Davies’ performance was abject to state the least.
How was that not a red card?
    Constantly inconsistent.

Tuesday's man in the middle is James Bell.

Ding dong did our away wins at Boro and Wigan. Repeats of those will be very welcome, thank you.

Another 3 goals will be nice as well.
