Just for the record, if anyone saw that I ‘liked’ this post, it was by accident and I apologise unreservedly.

What an absolute bellend you are Kemps. Your practically Steve Bruce.

Nay, Ehab level of c^ntishness I'd say...

Maybe someone should start a boycott..?

Wont go back until the West upper is open, we never again sign another player who's ever played in Turkey, the man who gave a soft landing to the mess that was Derby isn't fit to lace our hitherto academy coaches boots, so he gotta go before he's even started. Pound tickets for kids is disrespectful to pass holders yadda etc...

... Actually, haven't heard that last one this time around so maybe progress is being made?

We can debate here whether Rossy will be a good appointment or not, and it could go one way or the other. There would be no guarantee that even a proven manager would succeed, Chris Hughton did well at Brighton and Newcastle but was a failure at Forest. Wilder was good at Sheff U but didn't do anything at Boro, the list is endless.

Personally, in the position we are in as a club, I think Rossy is well worth a try, have some faith in an up-and-coming intelligent coach, who is unlikely to upset the dressing room and bring some fresh ideas and enthusiasm to proceedings and likely to work well with Daws.

At the end of the day let's just wait and see, give him all the support that we can, and truly hope he is a huge success.

I’ve always liked Rosie so I’d wish him the best, just one thing, I sincerely hope that he continues the high press and doesn’t revert back to passing between our defence and keeper, otherwise it’ll be Rosie out!

It's one of the few places in London you can get decent fish and chips and as you say the name is brilliant, as is the decor.
Cost didn't used to bother me as it was on expenses but any future visits will be paid for unfortunately! Will snap his hand off for some 'pieces' to fill me up!

I think what many are forgetting is the effect that the squad of players and any existing staff have on the ability of a new manager/head coach to succeed and this can often be the difference between that and failure.
It is not fundamentally different to normal working life, in that a manager is only as good as the team supporting him.
Yes, it is a two way street but sometimes the mix just isn’t right or the existing team don’t take (rightly or wrongly) to the incoming new leader. I’ve seen it many times in a normal work environment and been on both sides of it. I’m sure it’s the same in football and a major factor in why managers have those blots on their cv’s. Sometimes, the odds are just against you for a variety of reasons and no matter how much experience you have and how much success it has brought you elsewhere, you just can’t replicate it because the ingredients just aren’t right,
Hopefully, in this case, the ingredients are right for a new leader to take our team and club forward successfully. I was excited by the prospect of Martins coming but it wasn’t to be and haven’t really felt any buzz about any of the other names mentioned. However, reading some of the stuff about Rosie that have been posted on here, I’m quite optimistic that he may have the right mixture of qualities to make a real go of it but of course, we just don’t know.
The last couple of games, albeit a very small sample, seem to suggest that, despite many on here previously stating that we’d assembled a team of individual misfits, they are together and can compete as a cohesive unit.
Andy Dawson and the small team of coaches at his disposal have to be given a lot of kudos for that massive turnaround in performance and I like many others feel that perhaps should have earned them a longer spell in charge to see where they could take us but I suspect that the owners were already quite a way towards feeling that they’ve found the right man for the job and now don’t want to risk losing him to another suitor, if they stall the process.
There is only one way to find out if this will work and it seems likely now that it is going to happen, so we shall see.
It would be the same with anyone else we brought in but I for one, am feeling quite intrigued to see how this plays out and hope it proves to be a master stroke.

For better or worse, I hope Rosenior now gets announced as soon as possible. The players need a settled manager in, and the manager needs his own full team of coaches etc around him rather than making do with a caretaker and an under resourced ramshackle support team (not meaning to be disrespectful, but just the reality). It might initially be a case of one step forward, two back, as players once again need to get used to yet another manager and his ideas, but Acun needs to crack on now and get it done.
Who knows how it's going to work out, but I feel quite optimistic. And it will be great if Rosenior, with a supporting team that includes Dawson, can lead us to success.

It seems Acun has stayed overnight, so probably meeting LR today, so maybe later or tomorrow there will be news!

Baz now saying Daws will still be in charge for Boro. Only two more games after that and bookies would be paying out on him as next manager. I wonder if it’s worth a bet at 7-1 just in case Rosenior negotiations are delayed?

Daws in charge on Tuesday is just common sense even if Rosie is announced.
