Saturday 29th October 3pm
Premier League
Vitality Stadium

No injury updates yet. I'd expect Richarlison and Kulusevski to still be absent, at least.
Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Skipp, Bentancur, Bissouma, Sessegnon; Kane, Son.
Subs: Forster, Doherty, Spence, Tanganga, Davies, Perisic, White, Gil, Moura.
League form: WLWWLL.

Bournemouth: Neto; Fredericks, Mepham, Senesi, Smith; Lerma, Cook; Christie, Billing, Tavernier; Solanke.
Subs: Travers, Stacey, Stephens, Zemura, Pearson, Rothwell, Anthony, Stanislas, Moore.
League form: DDWDLL.

Ref: Arsenal's Anthony Taylor. VAR: Tim Sherwood's Jarred Gillett. What a horrible pairing.

TV: Not televised.

How would you like to line up for this one?

I had high hopes for Gilet when he moved here but evidence suggests he is as much of a damp flannel as the rest of them.

Hugo
Tanganga Romero Lenglet
Spence Bissouma Skipp Sessegnon
Gil Kane Perisic

Never happening but in the grander scheme of things, Tues night's game is worth a minimum £20m to the club. Sad truth but a truth nonetheless. We need to rotate heavily and tbh most of the players I've included in that XI should have had plenty of minutes in their legs by now, but haven't due to Conte's pisspoor squad management.

I’d like to see Tanganga given a game too, not sure what Conte's got against him. Not an accident waiting to happen like Sanchez and I’d probably rather him than Emerson or Doherty at RWB.

I’d actually go with the team you’ve selected but agree it’s never happening. If Gil doesn’t start though it’ll be an appalling decision, especially if we go 343 and Lucas gets the nod ahead of him. If we go 352 I could stomach it on the basis I doubt Conte would play him as one of the two, although either WB spot wouldn’t be so terrible considering current form of WBs, none of them can defend anyway so might as well throw caution to the wind and let Gil just run the line.

Hate this lot ... especially at their place.

There was the game where Son was sent off after them kicking him stupid and then pretending to be shot when he retaliated (stupidly)...Foyth then went full on kamikaze so we played all the 2nd half with 9 men and lost in the last seconds.

Then there was the Kane non penalty game the following season.

I think you may be one of the few people that hates Bournemouth <laugh>

Just read some of Conte’s comments, Gil ain’t gonna get a start if they’re anything to go by <doh>

Bryan Gil is a player that I always said to you is a really good prospect but physically is not so strong. I think at the moment we were pushing a lot and to make his substitution was important because he is very good 1v1

The lack of strength is a bullshit statement considering how many “weak” players have succeeded in the Prem, especially when they’re agile and good with the ball which he is. The “pushing a lot” sentence also makes me cynical in saying that he clearly told the team attack in the second half, where he’d likely told us to sit back in the first - something that’s been holding us back most of the season.

Edit: he also compared Gil to Bernardo Silva… I mean we could probably do with a Bernardo type player to create in this system whilst Kulu’s out…

Hate all that "plucky little Bournemouth " bollocks . .. their owners are richer than God... the only good thing about the place is my daughter who lives there.

Welcome to my clear and rational world <laugh>

I’ve only been Bournemouth once, was last year for my mate’s stag do, we were meant to go Vegas but Covid put a stop to that - so Bournemouth was the alternative <laugh>.

Actually a really good weekend though, went to an events place that had quad biking, buggies, shooting and axe throwing. Then hit the town on the evening, beach is quite nice too. Probably a decent place to live if you’re a young adult, I’d imagine your daughter must enjoy it(?).

She loves it .. uni gets in the way of her social life <laugh><laugh><laugh>

A "must win" game on the "season compass" , but
Conte will surely be very happy as a 1-0 win suffices.

Chaos please. Reckon Romero is out but Højbjerg is fit. Probably rest Benta for the midweek as he’s looked absolutely knackered at the end of games and we can’t have him running about on fumes.

Lloris
Tanganga Dier Lenglet
Spence Skipp Højbjerg Sess
Gil Kane Son

We should have enough in our squad to deal with Bournemouth who we should be streets ahead of

if we struggle today then maybe thee is something to be said about squad quality

Must win

both games are priorities at Spurs
