Is there any chance opposition teams can put some effort in when playing Arsenal? Any chance at all?

    Thanks in advance.

Basing it purely on the Spence we saw in the FA Cup last season (and the fact he made CTOTY), he'd arguably solve a couple problems. Our right flank without Kulusevski is a black hole for optimism at present. We know nothing will come from it in matches unless Son or Perisic take a corner on that side. So if Spence could use his pace to pull an opposition FB out of position it could potentially create openings for some other players to exploit and give us a reason to use the right flank with effect. If he can't even do that then just running up and down the wing really fast might entertain the fans for a while. Essentially he just needs to not be really **** and we'd be better for it.

If I could ask Conte just one question, it'd be what does Spence have to do to get a game. Because I'm not sure I'd want to ask what it is he sees in Emerson (or Doherty) as I wouldn't want to disrespect Conte and laugh at him.

I completely agree with you. Just trying to warn off the trap that exists where players who aren’t in the team get better every minute they’re on the bench, if you know what I mean

I mean arguably he does, well to be more precise, Emerson just gets worse with every match.

    Why fret ??

A third of the season gone, and they have only played
two of last seasons' top 7 (one home and away) .
Contrast with Spurs, who have played four of them away.

They'll soon be seeing opposition who "can put some effort in " .

Haven’t they played Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs already?

Chelsea away next, hopefully they drop points although I never feel right wanting Chelsea to win

A draw with multiple sendings off and season ending injuries for both teams would be sufficient <ok>
