Piers Morgan's tweets got less excitable as the game wore on. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

1 second after the final whistle, I got a message from my City mate. Thank you Saints. Every little helps. My reply was It might be little to you but it was massive for us!
Just had a thought. Wilfred Zaha will be thinking ‘No Romeu against Saints. Bonus’ Who is going to tell him about Gorilla? Medic required urgently!

Don't worry. JWP is Zaha's nemesis.

Pleased to hear this news about Elyounoussi especially as he gets it in the neck from time to time. Not at the match but that is a great point and affects the PL table in a way many had not expected! Sounds like a bit more grit in the team today. Ralph is staying for a bit yet me thinks.

He ran his socks off today. If he keeps playing this well I am happy to change my opinion that he is a competition winner. Been class the last few

I always expected Arsenal to look to just see the game out and not look to be too scintillating on the eye. But I thought they would do that from 2-0 up, rather than 1-0 up. It was like watching us in the mirror: a totally different side - far more safe and slow - after going 1-0 up, and duly being punished for it.

That said, take nothing away from us. By and large we were excellent. Aribo I thought was poor, and JWP, whilst better, was still way below his best. But everyone else, a big thumbs up. I gave MOTM to Diallo (it was like having first-season-Diallo back again), but it could have gone to Ely or Bazunu or someone else.

Thoroughly deserved point, and a very solid week completed.

All the Refs fault apparently that Arsenal failed to win on one Arsenal forum I just looked at.
Well what do you expect? We and 13 other clubs are not supposed to interrupt or interfere with the natural laws of football, one of them being, any poor result of any of the top six has to be down to the referee not helping them.

It id intresting reading other perceptions of the game. I thought that the defence played well as a whole but would have to single Perraud out as I just feel many other fans do not appreciate what a good player he is. I am not sure about the comments about Aribo and he had scraps o eal with for much of the game. He did not gel with Armstrong although I did feel they both worked hard. Armstrong is an enigma. I think he has the skill but makes too many poor decisions and will be unliely to get more than 5 goals a season at this level.
