The Bosingwa sending off was slightly harsh. I'm not sure if there was even any contact made on Shawn Wright-Phillips. They also had two strong penalty appeals which the referee didn't even bat an eyelid to. And Chelsea's players were frequently fouled and the referee just allowed play to continue. There isn't an agenda against Chelsea like their fans seem to think, but the referee in that game had quite the shocker. Not as bad as Osrevbo, but definitely in that ballpark. It's understandable that they felt slightly disheartened afterwards.
And as for the Arsenal game, well, I don't really understand why you're bringing that up? But yes, Szczsney was very careless and was very fortunate to not get sent off. Even the keeper himself accepts that. What did you expect me to do? Jump to his defence?
Loss to Blackburn was just shocking and I can't even explain how we managed to **** that up. The loss to Liverpool I will not get into because it's an argument I've had many times before. The loss to Man United there can be no complaints and the loss to you lot....you did shade it overall and just about deserved to win, but van der Vaart's goal really should have been canceled out for controlling it with his arm. Although I'm not sure why Sagna didn't track back and why Mertesacker, for a man of that height, could not have jumped to clear the ball away or even covered for Sagna when he went forward. Abysmal defending on our part, but van der Vaart was lucky.
As for our form, well, the last 10 games show that the confidence appears to be high and the morale has boosted and 2 of the losses were prior to when we got our acquisitions and when we looked even more vulnerable defensively.
Besides, there is 28 games left, so anything can happen between now and then. But people that are ruling out Arsenal already need to keep their traps shut because, really, history shows that even when we've looked like having a poor domestic season, we still get into the top four. 05-06 and 08-09 were seasons when we looked feeble and that we were going to drop out for definite. But we showed great character and determination to fight until the end and we obviously needed Lady Luck to smile at us toward the end

.
I'm not taking it as a given. Norwich away, Everton at home and Wigan away are not fixtures which I am looking forward to. Our record against Wigan at DW stadium hasn't been good, Everton always seem to give us a tough time and Norwich have shown that they're no pushovers, so I'm not taking anything for granted.
