This world cup break will actually do us some favours to be fair.
I never saw the club put a timescale on itI cant get my head round how he was ruled out for 4 to 6weeks in August with a fracture and has only just returned to training?

All I heard was he was "out for a significant length of time" or words to that effect. As far as I know neither Neil nor the club put any timescale on itAlex Neil said it in an interview so that's where I got it from.
Clearly hes no medic, but hearing that and knowing it was a slight fracture to the bone it sounded feasible

Be careful what you sayI thought the same? Can't be expected to know what he is in about from that!
This went on the wrong post sorry chapsError bring him back

4 weeks would be wildly optimistic for a broken bone
We are blessed with quality at centre back Flash, but injuries and suspensions will take their toll over the season and they will all get their chance. I hope that Mowbray makes them work hard to get in the team and maintain that effort to keep their place.I think I've forgotten how good Ballard is. I love Danny Batth to be fair and O'Nien, Wright and Alese have all performed admirably.
Does Ballard walk straight back in to that back line?
