Bugger, I was hoping she'd hang on for another month doing bat-****-crazy stuff to make sure the Tories remain unelectable for a decade.

Then I remembered all the people out there who have seen their mortgage offers go up in smoke and others struggling to pay theirs. So thank god.

I used to be able to (just) hold the moral high ground over my American colleagues when it came to politics, but I am struggling now. Meeting in 20 mins with them...ridcule awaits.
