Did that about 5 years ago and lost 2 stone. Keto this time for me - lost 22 lbs since July. That said i do believe in intermittent fasting as it really works. Once I lose another 6-7lbs and will be finally at 11 stone again (5ft 8.5" and 53 years old ) I will then go over to that to maintain it.
CGT, eating only bollocks does limit your choice somewhat, and what do vegetarians do? Eat Brussels Sprouts and pretend?
I was feeling really awful this morning and quite worried and anxious. Didn't know what it was, but the wife gave me a packet of chocolate and I felt fine after that. I was suffering from pre Minstrel tension.
I can't work out how I feel ahead of tonight. It is somewhere between being really nervous as this is a huge game for the club/Ralph and also just not giving a **** because I am fully expecting another dull uninspiring performance.
Don’t want to upset the apple cart, strike that; chocolate cart here but only just manage to listen to TSP (Total Saints Podcast) for the WHU game. Said before but they just talk total sense on there. A variety of speakers but really all saying similar. Ok 45mins but highly recommended listening. Even had a Bompey blogger on giving his take on tonight’s game. COYR&W chocolate machine.
I am only worried about tonight as all my Bompey mates are normally very, very vocal. I haven't heard a peep out of them today. So much so I just checked their social media accounts to see if they had blocked me lol. I think they are quietly confident that we are as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I'm fine with us being unchanged (aside from the one enforced change)...if we play like we did in the first half vs WH.
A bit of stability in the lineup might be a good thing. Ely had a decent game against WH and I don’t think our other options are any better right now. Pretty numb to the football tonight really. Obviously I always want us to win, but just expecting more frustration and disappointment. Just feels like we’re waiting for Ralph to be sacked and a new manager to come in to refresh our season.
Ralph said that whilst Armstrong is better on the ball, Ely is better at winning it back. So basically he being picked for defensive reasons - assuming Ralph deems that necessary due to the lack of a fit or capable DM.
I would play an extra man in midfield and then play attacking players that can impact a game personally. But I guess Ralph knows best
A match in October is never going to qualify as a six-pointer. But given our struggles, the difference between being two points behind Bmouth or eight points behind them is huge. I think most people would say that Bmouth have done really well so far, and are much higher than expected. So if they were to only be two points ahead of us, that's hardly worth shouting about - especially if they were to have a downturn in form, which would hardly be surprising. But eight points ahead? That would be very healthy indeed.
