Great story of mistaken identity https://metro.co.uk/2021/05/10/guy-goma-bbc-interview-turns-15-case-of-mistaken-identity-14550632/
absolute horlicks on the M62 west this evening.. I clocked the queue at 6 miles... emergency repairs on the bridge which was down to one side because of emergency repairs... did someone hit the bit of metal dividing the two lanes... or has the surface given way...?
Classic stuff from HDM. Does anyone ever check things before they get published? https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...ws/m62-closure-drivers-despair-misses-7728731
Their proofreaders are either ****e or they don't check things before being published. I saw an article they did about the death of Angela Landsbury, saying she had died at 96 and was born in England in 1940, which was when she went over to the States (whereas she was actually born in 1925). They changed it later, but when publish the simplest thing to check was obviously overlooked.
