17.2 Miles today and a lot of ups and downs, strong wind and some rain, not a great day for photo's. A Sika deer(I think from the white patch) Toilet time
Day 4- 18.38 miles, much better weather, had the shorts on. Lunch in The Royal Oak, Painswick. Just under half way.
Day 5 - 15.4 miles, a few gruelling climbs today, rain at 3 pm put a damper on the last 4 miles, soaked, so quick shower a few beers before tonight's fayre. Aber, Chief and Luv over there somewhere, Severn Bridge In the distance on the right. Lunch break here.
We'll get there Sunday evening. Probably going to be looking for a place for a couple of pints and then an Indian
There's a big Indian restaurant in town centre we used to go to when I worked there. Fairly middle of road tbf, but the food was definitely above ****. Can't remember its name, will look it up though! Pint wise, fill your boots as it's got great selection of boozers of all types. Great town for pubs.
Day 6 - 16 miles, great day for walking. Lunch stop, me and the landlord could quite easily have fell out.
****e mate, probs the worst pub we ever visited when I worked there. You should have asked. The Raven a top pub. As is The Huntsman.
It was just a quick swallow, the neck oil was decent tbf. Shower then out for a few before a curry, been told The Eastern Eye is a good one
That's the one! Soz, forgot to say the other day but that's it anyway. The Raven is on the corner of the same street, give there a go. After that, cross the road and have some top quality Gin at The Canary Gin bar. Best bar in town, their own damson gin is ****ing superb with ginger beer.
