Final Summary.

Distance 111 miles.
Ascent 14,181 ft or 4322 mtrs.
Great week lots of banter and laughs along the way, 3 blokes who support different teams etc.
Met some decent folk, some great and good, food and beers too.
So far, we've raised £851.00 plus £207.75 gift aid, so broke the £1000 mark in total, with a few more promises of donations to come.
Finally thanks to anyone who donated and apologies if I've not said thanks either on here or via pm, we had 3 anonymous donations, one I think I know who it was, but if any of them are you, then thank you, it would be good to get a pm from you if so, just to know who you are.

Great effort fella <ok>

We're back out again on Monday, I've been out with both of them individually but first time we've managed to get out together since.

Band of brothers

The Dartmoor trip I did with the lads earlier in the year was epic.

Hi all,
As some of you maybe aware, my younger brother died of a brain tumour just over 3 years ago, since then we've been fundraising to try and help find a cure for or at least increase people's chances of having a longer life.
This year 3 of us are doing The Cotswolds Way, a 102 mile trek to try and raise more funds, our total raised so far is over 13k and it would be great if we could get it to 15. Any donation no matter what amount would be most welcome, so if any of you could spare a few pounds, euros, dollars or whatever that would be awesome.

If you can donate, please don't forget to gift aid.

Up at 6 yesterday, 500 mile round trip to Plymouth, as we had an invite to the Brain Tumour research centre to witness the work they do, firstly we placed 8 tiles on the 'wall of hope', each tile representing £2740 raised by us,which equates to one day's research, some of it due to the generosity of the folk on here, thanks again all.
We had an indepth tour to show us what they are doing to try and alleviate this ****ing awful disease, what was really inspiring was how many of the scientists/ researchers give their time for free, the one lady Sylvia, who was our guide, works 30 hours somewhere else to give her an income, then works between 20 and 30 hours a week there for no income, such is her passion to beat it. I think most of us probably think these people work 37.5 hrs a week for £100k plus salaries but nothing could be furthur from the truth.
Long but very informative day.
