Thought the crowd were on their backs most of our game and they got a really poor reaction at the final whistle so that wouldn’t help. Just wonder why managers would go to Watford as their sacking record is a lot worse than ours….crazy job being a manager these days unless your on a zillion quid contract.
I’m on the fence about that. If you get the right manager, then keeping him works. If you keep hiring the wrong one (Grayson, Coleman, Ross, Parkinson , Johnson) then the need to move quickly becomes more apparent. It’s worked fir us. We’re in a much better place than we were with any of those other managers. Watford are a different animal mind, they seem to change manager on a seasonal basis regardless.
You'd have to say the people choosing the manager aren't getting it right ... ... bringing in the Forest Green boss to manage recent PL players always seemed naive to me.
