Some economist on Radio 4 this afternoon seemed to think that this approach from Truss's cabinet was a huge departure from Conservative policy for the last 12 years.

I think he meant in terms of austerity being over. Same bloke seemed to think this was all a good idea.
Stop worrying, we haven’t got long to wait for the next election.
Tax cuts: Someone earning £200k a year = £5k better off. Someone earning £20k a year = £150 better off. They are the party of the working classes you know
