... Saturday 8th October. Bit of a sad case club imo, made a massive deal about being owned by the fans then sold out to a bunch of Yanks and other shady characters. Looks like they're trying to exploit the Sunderland supporters by charging £32.50 for away tickets, very poor for a Championship game in a tatty stadium after a long journey. Tickets go on sale Tuesday. Still, the team looks erratic so at least we might have the chance of three points. They beat Hull yesterday but they're not exactly the Barcelona of the second division
What happened to the £20s plenty charge? Profiteering the Welsh b*stards knowing SAFC will sell out regardless. It would be fab if everyone just said fk it and it backfired on them
Only a couple of teams signed up for it and we weren't one of them. To be fair we don't help ourselves as we charge £29 and fees for away fans.
More than 40,000 workers from Network Rail and 15 train operators will strike again on 8th October, their union says. The RMT said that it would be "effectively shutting down the railway network" as part of a long-running dispute about pay, jobs and conditions. It will come just a week after an even bigger strike by members of the RMT and the train drivers union, Aslef. Network Rail warned passengers to expect very significant disruption and to only travel if absolutely necessary.
Queen dying, daft internationals, World Cup, Sky changing games, train strikes, etc ... .. did my Grandad have to put up with this kind of shyte.
