    I remember the Gene Pitney song of the same name(The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance).My Late Mothers youngest sister had every album he ever did and never had them off the record player!!!

    Was it John Wayne who shot Valance? Though Jimmy Stewart took the credit. I've never been keen on Westerns, though 'The Searchers' is a true masterpiece.

    The remake of 3.10 to Yuma was pretty good, of more recent efforts but Dances with Wolves is one of my all time favourites.
