You have to like The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, surely. Can’t beat The Third Man, my all time favourite.
Oh yes, and anything by Ealing Studios.
The films of that time like that were brilliant. Can’t beat the Ealing Comedies.

Yes, but it had no connection to the film though it was rumoured it was to be used but the film came out without it.

They said at the time the day of the Westerns was over, John Ford said nonsense and put every cliche in he could think of to prove the formula still worked, And it did.
Was it John Wayne who shot Valance? Though Jimmy Stewart took the credit. I've never been keen on Westerns, though 'The Searchers' is a true masterpiece.That's the one, along with mad eyes Robert Newton.

The remake of 3.10 to Yuma was pretty good, of more recent efforts but Dances with Wolves is one of my all time favourites.
