Tufan was one of the designated scapegoats in pre-season. That stopped for a bit when we were winning but now we need someone to blame again he's a good target. We've got loads of midfielders now so if he's really that bad he'll be dropped and replaced by Docherty or Woods.

If Tufan is a target, it is because he showed nothing when we don't have the ball. We need all the players to battle. A few did and a few didnt. As has been said, we can't afford more than a couple like that. Fig tried but was awful. That's shota's fault because he should have played him

I don't think Tufan can be singled out. The 3 midfielders just don't work together. Seri needs a hard bastard next to him doing all the dirty work and that's not Slater. Both stand off their man, getting deeper, rather than put in a tackle, adding more pressure on the defence. Time and time again we stand off waiting for the opposition to pass, ultimately getting the ball into our box. It's ****ing bonkers.

Shota's record for City. Played 30, won 9, draw 6, 15 loses and 33 points.

McCann last 30 Championship games for City. Played 30, won 8, draw 5, lost 17 and 29 points.

What kind of player is Tufan?

He came as a defensive midfielder but he doesn’t look in the least bit defensive to me, doesn’t hassle and Harry, weak in the challenge, but very classy with the ball.

Same with Seri, looks classy with the ball at his feet but achieves very little with or without the ball. Super weak, gives it away a lot, don’t even notice he’s on the pitch when we don’t have the ball.

Playing them together is like playing Lampard and Gerrard together.

In which case, the only viable options in the entire squad to play behind them are Doc, Jones and Slater. Then how do Pelkas, M’Hand and Traore fit into the team when they’re all available. Pick one from 5.

Shota had the benefit of a strengthened squad for all of those games.

The fact that people are asking for Tufan to be dropped, as they were before the season, is laughable. He needs a solid foundation to build upon. You can’t ship 18 goals in 6 matches and blame your number 10. Our defence is simply not good enough to absorb any pressure at this level. We could have been 2 goals down in 5 minutes today.

I wrote a summary when they are signed
Ozan is a box-to-box midfielder, when he is fit. He does everything at acceptable level, but not really a specialist. His level is way above championship, but he rarely reaches that level, very unprofessional and he is quite famous with his unprofessional behavious in Turkey, social media is full of fun videos about him.
Seri is a deep-lying playmaker, technically gifted, great vision, physically below average. He needs muscle next to him and he usually plays great when possesion is above %60 (this is really important, if a team do not have the ball, seri is useless, he is not a runner, neither fighter).

With all due respect I take your opinion on Tufan as a footballer with a pinch of salt as you clearly have bias against him as he’s the former boo boy at your native club.

Yea Seri does appear to be that player but should still see more from him, even Jimmy Bullard would achieve more on a Saturday afternoon coming straight to the ground from the afters, having been up all night after 15 pints and a bag full of packet.

They didn’t want him at the club based on a couple of pre season appearances.

He never played for my native club. But yeah, you can think whatever you want. I am talking with 8 years of experience.

We need muscle throughout the squad. Every team we play is like land of the giants in comparison

More than half of those wins came with McCann's men, pretty much using McCann's formation.

Shota to be given more time according to Baz.
That's another three points at least down the drain then.

Sky said today we were in the bottom three of the championship in terms of chasing the opposition down.
    Does Shota even know that?

I think it's very harsh to say Seri achieves nothing. He plays a deep role so he's not there to create goals, but as Sky showed today, he'd created more chances than anyone in our squad despite only playing 4 games.l before today. His ability to get us out of tight situations and up the pitch is excellent, and his progressive passing through the middle, often to Tufan, is very useful. Nothing went right today and it is a worry on a team level, but I don't think we need to start digging out our best players.

I was thinking more along the lines of the physical attendees as opposed to how many should be there.
