Unable to watch the game live myself so don't know which is correct. Looking at it purely from statistics available it looks like we're the better team.

 

Trent deffo needs competition for his place the lazy twat.

 

Just to add, we spend more time with the ball than without and Trent is both one of our main playmakers and generally our top assist provider. This shows his role is primarily an attacking one I'd say.

 

Just looked at the replay of their goal, VVD has to attack their forward. Yes it was a great strike but he might not have been able to do that if Virg had closed him down

 

Sure, competition would help. He knows it's either a CB (Gomez) or a midfielder (Milner) coming in that his position is not under threat.
