3 night's in Malaig then ferry over to Skye for 4 nights, we usually wait until September so the midge have gone but the little buggers have needed water wings this summer

Love Toronto, in fact what we have seen of Canada most of it is lovely. Currently in adam Francisco for a week before driving down to Monterey for a week
Not seen much of Canada, but this will be my 6th visit to 'tronno and I love the place
Love San Fran. The drive down the coast to San Diego is a must
Very cool city, with the usual high rise buildings, nice bars, restaurants etc. It also has Lake Ontario and the Islands which are well worth a visit in the summer. You have the Blue Jays playing Rodgers Centre (Baseball) which is right next to the CN tower. You have the Maple Leafs playing Ice Hockey at the Scotiabank Arena,. They have film festivals and art exhibitions. St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District are worth a visit, they have a Greek Festival just outside the city limits in a place called Danforth. Toronto is a great jumping off point for Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake, plus you have Cottage Country 3-4 hours north where there are hundreds of Lakes with cabins for rent. You can go south to Pittsburgh or Buffalo across the US border too
My sister has lived just outside Toronto for 5 years so we take a week or two over there every year. It;s a fantastic city
Great stuff, thank you. Are those sporting games easy to get tickets for? We would have 2 kids in tow so sounds like there is lots to do. We usually do the standard beach holidays in Europe but that sounds like a nice change with plenty to see and do to keep them busy. Didn't even think about crossing the border to the USA either, I assume that's easy enough to do?
Baseball is easier than the Ice Hockey. The Ice Hockey tickets are extortionate, but you can go to see The Marleys who are the reserve team and play at a lower level. Toronto FC's stadium is on the outskirts of the city too
Crossing the border is fine, you just need your Esta (US Visa) as well as your eTA (Canadian Visa) arranged ahead of time (both cost a few quid each)
Niagara is a good day out, there are some lovely Vineyards around Niagara on the Lake (beautiful little town) that do excellent food. The City Sightseeing passes are worth buying too - you can hop on and off the buses to explore the city. I've taken my two across there a few times (my sister initially had a condo opposite the CN Tower so we were very central) and there is loads to entertain them
