I reckon the weekends games will be called off. Todays already have and even if it’s just in the name of fairness, just can’t see them going ahead.

I think it would be more appropriate to cancel next weekends schedule if any as that is when the funeral shall be.

EF: Statement - “Consideration in respect of EFL fixtures will be discussed with the Government and the wider sport sector during the period ahead and an appropriate announcement will be made at the earliest opportunity”
Obviously the decision will need to be made very shortly due to people having to travel the length and breadth of the Country. When the Queens passing was announced racing was abandoned immediately,as was the Golf at Wentworth . They are cancelled today as a mark of respect but indications are that they will resume on Saturday. It's also interesting to note that the postman have cancelled their 2nd day of industrial action and are working today.

I don't hide the fact that I mourn the loss of the Queen but feel that the best course of action would be to allow sporting events and Football in particular to go ahead,it's not disrespectful in my view and events can organise their tributes/minutes silence as they see fit.

I feel events should be cancelled on the day of the funeral but do not see the point of cancelling everything this weekend.

I think it's looking increasingly likely that tomorrow's games will all be postponed, many stores in London (major stores like Selfridges) are closed today as a mark of respect and I think things like that have a knock-on effect.

I think the games being canceled would benefit us

hopefully sinik will be ready to play next week ?

Further to discussions on Friday morning it has been determined that all EFL fixtures from 9-10 September will be postponed as a mark of respect by the National Sport to the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.

This is aligned with the approach that the Premier League and the FA will take with their competitions this weekend.

Further information, in respect of how football, Clubs and their supporters will commemorate Her Majesty’s reign will be confirmed at an appropriate point.

Details regarding rearranged games will be announced in due course.
