Looks like Fury v Joshua is finally going to happen. Can't see anything other than a resounding Fury win but you never know. Fury's style might suit Joshua.

NFL season starts tonight. Packers @ Vikings live on Sky on Sunday evening. :) Be interesting to see how the new coaching staff have impacted the Vikings. Given how Kupp exploded under O'Connell as the Rams offensive coordinator I think Jefferson could have a huge year.

Think it will be very a similar season in terms of record to last year, which in the NFL is basically a disaster.

I think Vikings will make the postseason. NFC is wide open. If you look at the AFC, you've got a lot of very good teams: Bills, Bengals, Titans, Chiefs, Chargers plus you've got teams like the Ravens, Raiders and Broncos who could have good seasons.

NFC - you've got the Packers, Buccaneers, 49ers and Rams and Cowboys who you would expect to make the postseason. No reason why Vikings can't be one of the wildcards IMO.

Yeah they might make the wildcard, but those teams you’ve listed are all a lot better than the Vikings (right now you’d have to say, things can change quickly in the NFL) so would likely be a one and done in the playoffs, which is the same as not making the playoffs for me, just with a worse draft pick.

I was happy with binning Zimmer and Spielmann and quite like the O’Connell hire and Kwesi, but I don’t like that they’ve basically just re-rolled with the same team that has failed last couple of years. It’s the owners saying the reason the team was **** was down to the coaching, which may be true. Usually when a new coach and GM come in there is a significant change in playing personnel as well, be interesting to see how much a change of the coaching makes. This year is meant to be stacked for QB in the draft so just hopeful they can get one of them as Cousins replacement
