I wonder how many of the die hard ultra’s in the stands at the likes of Fenerbahce decide not to bother going to the game because they have to get up early the next morning.
Or in Spain where the have games kicking off at 11pm?
Imagine a different culture in a different country being different.Or in Spain where the have games kicking off at 11pm?

I always wondered why the Nou Camp and the Bernabeu are always so empty…
Perhaps they have flexible working hours. Don't need to be in at 9 in the dot every dayI wonder how many of the die hard ultra’s in the stands at the likes of Fenerbahce decide not to bother going to the game because they have to get up early the next morning.
Turks work longer hours for less money than we get. They don’t have sophisticated flexible working hours systems. Most will start before 9. Like us some will be on shifts but not most.Perhaps they have flexible working hours. Don't need to be in at 9 in the dot every day
In Spain they have a siesta, so tend to stay up later at night.
When I was in Italy, Greece & Portugal, places were closed mid afternoon.Kids are out with their parents until after midnight and kid still at school in the morning. Not everyone has a siesta, though with the heat in summer you need to be out of the shade in the hottest couple of hours. They of course work later. Here people would want a siesta and still finish at 5pm. They are out late in Greece, Portugal and Italy but don’t have a siesta. They are out later in countries with a similar climate to ours like Germany.
Other countries realise there is more than one 1,2 and 3s in a day.

cool beansAre you a Little Englander who doesn’t want to adopt the ways of our neighbours in the EU? Imagine living in a culture where everything doesn’t shut early? Though being able to stay out later and get up early isn’t culture. Funny how people in this country say 11pm closing is late enough and want a return to the good old days of 10.30 pm closing and nightclubs shutting at 1am are the last out when in Spain, Greece etc…
It was when I was working on ships going round the med, pain in the arse as by the time I was ready to go out, a lot of things were shut. Some maybe but they don’t have a siesta. Never noticed places closed in Greece on an afternoon.
