My starting XI is based on the month as a whole, and not for one game at a time. So here goes ... For the Lesta game, I would go with a starting XI akin to the Fulham game, but with Bissouma for Hojbjerg amd Kane not to start. For the first four CL group ties, I want Perisic in the starting XI. Experienced international/UEFA player, and those games are unlikely to be played at PL speed. For the Citeh and Sorting CP games, I want the strongest available starting XI selected. In the case of the latter,, solely to attempt to prevert a repeat of the first half of the 2016-17 + 2018-19 CL group stages. For the Marseilles game, my starting XI would be effectively half way between the Fulham and strongest starting Xis (though I am not sure what that actually is) .
Oh good a Slovenian ref that went well before didn't it Their form is ominously good and they have 3 ex goons, 1 on loan goon and an ex spammer lots of additional motivation for those players. I know we have City at the weekend but we need to get off to good start and this is a tough game. Lloris, Romero, Dier, Lenglet, Doherty, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic, Richarlison, Kane & Kulusevski.
A Slovenian ref who has this as part of their Wikipedia profile... On 30 May 2020, Vinčić was arrested by mistake as part of a police probe into a prostitution and drugs ring in Bosnia and Herzegovina but was soon cleared of any wrongdoing.
Sorry to go slightly off topic already, but I am in the surprising and unexpected position of going to the match. It's been ages since I went and I'm also in the position of approaching the ground from a different direction than when I last went. I'm therefore asking if anyone could suggest a good place to park? I'll be coming from the direction of Finchley and I really don't mind a long walk. Any help appreciated.

Samar Nasri talking up OM, mainly by saying we come up short against teams who play busparquet I'm sure the fact he played for OM 14 years ago is the reason for this...
Highlights of Marseille's weekend win over newly promoted Auxerre: Their squad features some familiar names, unfortunately. Guendozi, Kolasinac, Tavares and Sanchez all played for the filth. Payet, Bailly, Under and Mbemba all played in the Prem too, plus our old sub Pau Lopez. Luis Suarez isn't that Luis Suarez, though. He's a Columbian who was on Watford's books. Papa Gueye was there, too. Neither played and the latter was sold in 24 hours, bizarrely.
It's annoying that City will get an extra days rest before the Saturday fixture. I know it’s swings and roundabouts but it’s arguably the toughest fixture of the season already without them getting an extra 24 hours to prepare
