Realistically, you should comfortably beat them, but I will indulge in the result if they do cause a big upset in London.
We can't take this or indeed any game for granted. Made that mistake in our first CL campaign under Poch and ended up humiliated. I am concerned at the relative lack of CL experience across our squad, both from players who haven't had CL football in 3 years plus multiple new additions who haven't had any ever. I am also concerned at Conte's record in Europe - unlike his domestic record , it is bang average. I don't think he has ever progressed beyond the QF and that achievement was with Juve a decade ago. So as I said, we cannot afford to treat this game lightly.
Always says everything is hard for us, we are not quite there, can’t expect too much, blah blah blah inside you know he wants to win everything that’s why he can’t keep his arse in the dugout for longer than a few seconds during games Looking forward to watching Richy this week…a possible CL debut and City…2 massive games…and he loves massive games. Each month is about tangible targets. August was all about the "season compass" , and the 12 pts up for grabs. Spurs took 8 pts. September is about "getting in the groove" on squad rotation, getting into a strong position in the CL group, and once again reminding Pep that his Citeh are Spurs' bitch.
I would be nice to see Romero swinging that long haired muppet Gwendoozie by his hair tonight , no yellow of course
