I would tend to agree - essential services such as Water and Energy should be fully, or at least 75.1%, Publicly owned.

The knock on affect of unplayable massive energy bills will kill off more businesses than that lock down farce did !
But when it shuts nursing homes putting the elderly at risk of being homeless, and schools cutting to 3 days a week, crime exploding, and many more things we're yet to realise. Then maybe the moving line will at last be crossed and the ensuing chaos will give the great reset the scum bags causing all this wanted all along !

I read a report today on Bloomberg that over 60% of UK businesses are on the brink of collapse due to energy prices, the shock wave of such a catastrophe would be unimaginable and I cannot see the British government letting that happen, they will have to follow France with energy utilities......<ok>

There’s talk of kicking off EFL matches at 1pm or 1:30pm to avoid using floodlights.

Wonder if some evening matches will be re-scheduled?

The government's first duty is to protect the people/country.
They were quick enough bringing in a large number of new laws and rules under the guise of terrorism laws !

They need to cap the energy prices to affordable levels before winter kills more people than normal, and if the f**k**s squeal then point out the billions they milked us for in profits and find a reasonable middle ground that gives share holders a smaller return for a while until this latest pissing contest with Russia is over ?

We know there's trillions in gas underground in UK which could be tapped to cut bills until nuclear is up to speed, but can you trust the ###$ not to sell it abroad to the highest bidders instead of benefiting us ? I reckon the c#### have already hedged it all against debts and all the money printing for mostly things we don't want or had a say in ! Which is why the pound ain't crashed hard so far ?

While the morons in gov have been AWOL squabbling which of the Next 2 will have a turn at screwing us over for thier puppet master, a massive transfer of wealth to them is taking place letting the big biz having free reign picking our pockets !

I think we need a name for this new movement... not so much "A Team", more "Zzz Team"?
