......For a striker who doesn't have the bottle to step up and take a penalty. Instead allowing a defender to take it. You just couldn't make it up

Bored of what exactly?

Surely it's perfectly acceptable to wonder why a striker, who cost 50 million pounds, the 3rd most expensive player in history, wont take a penalty

I agree, it's a valid question, but he never take's pen's anyway, I don't remeber him ever taking one for us, anyway apart form all that he was terrible again last night, his closing down of defender's that he used to be really good at is almost non-existent at the moment.

it isnt really about bottle is it you mug.

Perhaps Luiz has shown in training he is a better penalty taker (though no evidence of that last night). And plenty of defenders have taken pens for their tema before. Baines takes them for Everton, Stuart Pearce for Notts Forest back in the day. Are all the strikers at these clubs also bottlers or does that not suit your agenda.

Jog.....

On.

Does Ibrahimovic take pens for Inter?

Who takes pens for Real? Ronaldo or Kaka?

Whoever doesn't is a bottler apparently.

Have to say with no Lamps or Drogba on the pitch and Anelka having missed his last couple (so not suprised he didn't get to take it) you'd have thought that Torres would be next up. But maybe he's just not as good at penaltys as other people. Really can't see what a price tag has to do with it. We didn't buy him to take penaltys.

Lots of strikers don't take penalties and their transfer fee is irrelevant you're post is designed to have a dig at the Chelsea fans.

I think Torres took them for Liverpool when Gerrard was injured. And after watching Luiz's penalty, I don't think it was that bad, the keeper just guessed right!
