Sky reporting Forrest have made their 19th signing, nnnnnineteen. nnnnnineteen.
19 signings and still going down. I find it an amazing approach they have taken - you can't build a complete squad over the course of a few weeks and expect them to perform. They would have been better with 6 or 7 quality additions and trusting the lads who got them up last season

Depends on the clauses tbh.
You'd assume there will be wage cuts written into contracts, but every player will be worth less than when they were purchased if Forest try to sell them after relegation. Some contracts will be far too big, even with the clauses and buying clubs will know this so will offer smaller sums, or take them on loan initially as they try to take advantage of Forest's financial position. There is no chance they are recouping the £150m+ they have spent and could potentially hamstring themselves for a couple of years to come when the revenue streams drop massively and no-one wants to pay market value for the players they are trying to sell

I hope they do OK, Forest is a good club but I worry they are gambling the farm on staying up this season

Think they needed at least 14, looking at their team for the playoff final, all 5 loans have gone, their keeper wanted to leave and then their bench wasn’t good enough for the top league. 20+ seems excessive though

Their current owner is a colourful character. Been charged but acquitted of match fixing and drug trafficking.

Not having a go just impatient.. I want announcements now then I can get an early night and know we've done class business to win the league outright ha

haha I know mate. Could do with some shut eye myself to be honest. Mid week games and busy at the graft is no fun.

Patience mate, our recruitment team have done brilliant this window so far. I have full faith in them to get 1 or 2 more over the line today.
