If you had two pairs of legs... Would you rather them four in a row, or two pairs of two... One pair In front of the other?
I mean, you're both right. Ox was decent for a while. But the vast majority of his time with us he's been one of our weaker players.
No idea how good or bad he is tbh as I haven't seen anything of him. He has played for Barca and Juve but hasn't set the world alight at either in my understanding. Also a Brazil international. I just can't remember us being linked with him before, which doesn't necessarily mean much but given that we're loaning him on deadline day without an option to buy suggests that he's very much a stop-gap and not part of our long-term thinking.
BTW if we sign Artur Melo @Red Hadron Collider should know it's a very auspicious name. Melo means Badger in Esperanto. (Reason I know is I have a cat named Badger- predates RHC wanting to kill all Badgers- and I learnt Esperanto a few years back so looked up my cat's name) So combine that with Arthur of Arthurian legend and that makes Artur Melo the Badger King of the Britons. Beautiful
Well I'm hoping for a bit more than that tbh. If he can come in and be our new Wijnaldum for a year then great. Especially if Jones and Elliot can still develop.
well, I'll start low and be pleased if it happens that way. We could be looking at a bench warmer if IDEALLY thaigo can get and stay fit cos when he is fit our team improves a lot.
A decent option off the bench is fine for a one-year deal. He'd still get plenty of game time given our injury record, substitutions etc.
we desperately need to exploit the 5 subs so having thiago back on his diet of 60min games like in his bayern days would be ideal. hopefully....
"Limako" I had forgot that one, but I had known it once. Had to Google it. I don't think there are any players out there called Limako.
