Behind Oscar, was my MOM. He's better than most give him credit for. No surprise Williams was dropped for leaving him out to dry at the Hawthorns.

I had him 3rd MOM, after Slater and Oscar. Williams had to be dropped and I suspect he'll be out of the door by Thursday. In some ways playing as a wing back suits Coyle more, you don't get as defensively exposed, gets a little more protection but he's clearly not a wingback going forwards.

For QPR, if Christie is fit enough, I'd be tempted to start him at wingback and move Coyle into defensive midfield. I feel like that could be his best position and it removes all his vulnerabilities and we do need someone in there to give us more of a presence.

Coyle isn’t tall enough for that role.

You can't attribute Oscar's first to Coyle. He shot when he should've passed and it was outstanding work by Oscar to direct it in. You see so many players miss in those situations

He did put in 2 lovely crosses but both should've been defended.

It was one of Coyle's best game for ages but he should've been at fault for a goal and would have if it was for Ingram's heroics.
So if Coyle dudnt shoot but passed back to Jones, then just how would Oscar have scored that goal? Like it or not that is an assist.

By definition, it isn't an assist and that's why he hasn't been credited with an assist for any of the 3 goals yesterday

Think “ assists” came from the USA( where else) as a way for agents to screw more money out of club. Once upon a time they where called crosses or passes.

For it to be an assist, it has to go to the goalscorer without anyone else touching the ball. Coyle's 1st 2 hit the keeper first and Elder got the assist for the 3rd

I’ve missed every home game so far this season. I think I’ll stay away longer <laugh>. We keep on picking up 3 points in my absence.
Had a Guinness for you.
The amount of beer that was getting thrown around on the North Stand concourse at half time while the young uns were ‘going mental’ I assume they all got one for you as well!

Cant help thinking Coyle is not a happy bunny.... look at his face during the clip, everyone smiling except him.... captain of his home town club, things going well all except bringing someone in in direct competition. He should have been pleased how in the main he performed... Maybe im misreading it...
