I'm sorry, but if the baldy scotch twat signed a contract 4 weeks ago, then the club are utterly blameless in this.
Not what Speakman said today mind. Sorry, but until proven otherwise I will believe what I have heard from the horses mouth. Also, regardless of all of this, the timi g of his leaving stinks, so from my point of view he carries all the blame.
Very. He was promised better terms. They didn't come. He didn't sign the fresh contract. The 3 year one. Not a slight change to his rolling 12 month one. It's all good. Sunderland fans have made their mind up. I said yday it would play out like this. Easy to blame him. He has left us high and dry etc I blame the mess behind it all. The one who has overseen the LJ and RK fiasco. The one that's left the AOL like a ghost town. No AOL manager. No under 23 manager. Positions unfilled. Talks about innovation and process but goes to Tony Mowbray. I'll be in the minority but I have made my decision clear and not took the easy road.
I have no doubt Speakman has a lot to answer for whatever has gone on behind the scenes, however, did Alex Neil have to cause all this uproar the day before a big game? Did he bollocks he dropped us in the **** at the worst possible time seemingly to cause maximum damage and that’s on him. That’s how it looks to most people. Anyway, just hope an official announcement happens soon so we can put this behind us and move on.
Funny how nobody has said much till he left us in the **** yesterday!! Even you said he wouldn't leave for stoke the day before, now all of a sudden it's all speakmans and the club's fault . Yet 2 days ago nobody mentioned about him possibly leaving. He did sign a new contract 4wks ago, if he wasn't happy with it why did he sign it ?
Seems to be some agenda against blaming speakman and the club when anything goes wrong, maybe the club didnt do everything they could of done to keep him, but AN wanted the 1 yr rolling contract as he has done in the past, he bad no loyalty to safc
Sure? Well at the end of the season, the club should have asked for more commitment. But of course if they did that, they would have to give commitment to managers too. I'm not sure at all that Speakman would enjoy a an empowered manager at the club. He'll always want someone he gas some control over.
That’s his JOB, we don’t employ a manager, we employ a head coach to work UNDERNEATH the DOF, of course he has control over them. ****ing hell man
Absolutely brilliantly put argument. To the point and detailed. Well done. Speakman is obviously our saviour.
Merson - really????????? I don't watch sky much but amazed he's still getting paid for opinions. What does he know that gives him the right to laugh at anyone else??? Care in the community gone mad.
Of course it does. And here's me thinking that football is easy. Let's just have a shiny new system, ignore difficult reality, assume that experience means nothing, data everything, and a manager is just a simple cog in a wheel. Works everywhere that.
at least you recognise you're in the minority. The chants today were **** Alex Neil not **** Speakman.
It's clear you are not a Speakmann fan, but you cannot deny we have improved on the pitch (if not OFF it) since he came in. Recruitment has been excellent since KLD/KS came in
